Prayer Update 8

May 15
Hello everyone,

I want to begin this prayer update with a big welcome to all the new people on our prayer list and tell you how encouraging it is to see God add more Christians every week to pray for victory on the Special Election tomorrow.  We have Christians from all over the district, state and country interceding for this election and it is truly an honor to join with you in prayer.

My simple prayer requests revolve around one simple issue…getting people out to vote tomorrow!  The simple truth is that we will win this election tomorrow if God’s people come out to vote.

The weather forecast says it may rain tomorrow.  This could be a good sign for us, but please pray not for a downpour of rain but for a deluge of believers to come out and vote.  Pray that Christians would pour out of their homes to the polls.  Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on His people to remind them to vote and that their vote will move our community and country towards righteousness.

PROVERBS saysWhen the wicked rule the people moan and when the righteous rules the people rejoice.

Pray for a time of rejoicing.

One last request.

WILL YOU HELP US GO VIRAL?

We need your help to get the message out to 25 thousand voters in the 36th district in the next 24 hours!

If you use Twitter, Facebook, text or e-mail please contact every Christian you know in the 36th District, briefly introduce me, and ask them to vote tomorrow…AND ask them to do the same.  We all know that the best advertising is and has always been word of mouth recommendations from a friend and if you would take that step to contact your friends and encourage them to do the same it would have a tremendous impact on the results of this election.

I look forward to rejoicing with you all tomorrow in victory!
To God be the glory,
Craig

UNSEASONABLE DOWNPOUR

Yesterday I was in Lake Arrowhead.  It was 35 degrees, 30mph winds and raining. Doesn’t SOUND like May weather. Didn’t FEEL like May weather. Didn’t LOOK like May weather. The day before was clear. Sunny. Beautiful. Comfortable. Calm. Typical May weather.

So this Unseasonable down-pour caught me by surprise.

I had to get out in it. I had to get drenched. So I went hiking and prayed. And I got drenched…literally and spiritually.

So, I have a few questions for you.  Do YOU want to experience the deluge? Do YOU want to participate in an unprecedented uprising of the CHURCH here in District 36?

The Special Election tomorrow is a UNSEASONABLE Election, and God has called his “Special” person, my husband, Craig to run in this race.  Likewise, God has called His “Special People” YOU, His CHURCH to intervene on Craig’s behalf.

His church, Gods people praying for District 36, are Sunny and Beautiful, Comfortable, Calm and Typical…just like the May Saturday weather in Lake Arrowhead.   But, Sunday brought an UNSEASONABLE DOWNPOUR!! And like that downpour…

We want to see the Church RISE UP like a mighty storm!!

We want to see revival here in District 36!!

We want to see the church be called by the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT to get up and get out the VOTE for Craig!

We Know that what will happen on Election Day will not “SOUND” like what everyone expects… more of the same results.

We Know that What will Happen on Election Day will not “FEEL” like what everyone expects….more of the same results.

We Know that What will Happen on Election Day will not “LOOK” like what everyone expects…more of the same results.

God’s Word says, “Not by might. Not by power, but by my spirit says the Lord Almighty”!!
