Playoffs

Sports.  Our national pastime.  Devoted fans rally behind their team.  Each season reaches a climax. The Playoffs.

Playoffs typically allow the underdog team an opportunity to RISE UP and play the champion.  That’s what happened in this Special Election in District 36.

An unknown in the first round, came outta nowhere and defeated the Secretary of State.

Defying odds.  Smashing conventional wisdom. Destroying the status quo. Unbelievable.  A miracle. Craig Huey was then given an opportunity to play in the final.

During this final, devoted fans rallied behind him.  Fans not from just District 36 but fans from around the state as well as the nation.  

They showed up to cheer. 
They showed up to work.  
They showed up to pray.  
They showed up to give not just their time but their money. 

To them, this final game wasn’t a national pastime.  This final game was about our NATION!

On election night the fans crowded the stadium.  

In anticipation of VICTORY.
In anticipation of  DEFYING ODDS once again.
In anticipation of sending a POWERFUL MESSAGE to the world.

When the votes came in, it was apparent that the UNKNOWN had become KNOWN.  But not KNOWN enough.

The final game in this playoff ended in a defeat.
But in Gods eyes it was a VICTORY.

You see…

God SEES what goes on behind the scenes.
He SEES the peoples hearts we were able to TOUCH.
He SEES the peoples minds that were TRANSFORMED.
And HE SEES YOU. 

He SEES and hears Your cries.  Your life.  Your defeat. And by HIS POWER You WILL DEFY the odds in Your life. By HIS POWER , HE will Touch Your Heart. By HIS POWER, HE will Transform Your Mind.

You, dear warrior are in the playoffs. Make the MOST of this opportunity.

And you know what?

You already have fans WATCHING you. Cheering for you.  Rallying behind you.  A stadium full of fans.

You already HAVE VICTORY.
And you HAVE a game plan.
To make the cause of Jesus Christ KNOWN.
Because He is not KNOWN enough.

That my friend His message is the Most POWERFUL message to the world.

PRAY for:  VISION: Craig and I are putting together a team to build upon what has just begun here in District 36.  We need wise council and advisors. We need Gods amazing vision and direction.

PRAY for:  RESTORATION:  Our dedicated campaign staff, families and our family needs restoration and rejuvination.  We need a fresh wind, fresh fire of the Holy Spirit to propel us to the next level.  We wait expectantly for new platforms and opportunities to be used to glorify Him.

PRAY for:  RESOURCES:  As we build our team in anticipation for future things, we need the right people and the infusion of finances.

This is not the end!  We are just beginning here in District 36.  And so are You.

God’s Army – Prayer Update for Craig Huey

Hello everyone,

2 Kings 7 records a time when the nation of Samaria was experiencing great problems.  In the midst of great national turmoil Elisha prophesied God’s mercy and blessing to the elders saying,

“Hear the word of the LORD. This is what the LORD says: About this time tomorrow, a measure of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.”

Elisha was prophesying the favor and blessings of the Lord but the elders were still a bit skeptical.  They respond to Elisha’s prophecy saying,

“Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?”  To which Elisha replies, “You will see it with your own eyes….”

It was so bad in the nation that the Bible records that there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate saying they should just surrender to their enemy, the Arameans, hoping that by doing so they might at least have a small chance of survival.

But there was HOPE and absolutely NO NEED TO SURRENDER.  In the mist of incredible national struggle and an army at their doorstep, the Bible records an incredible miracle.

It says,  “At dusk they [the lepers] got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there, for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!”  So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives.”

We are asking for a similar miracle.  Join us in prayer for the Lord to fight this battle and that our opponents would abandon camp by the thousands by not voting.  Join us in asking for God’s great invisible army to bring in the victory this Tuesday.

Also, please pray for believers to step up these final days to volunteer and vote.  The race is neck and neck and if God’s people vote we will have a clear and decisive victory.

Faces of Lions

People throughout Southern California have caught word of whats happening here in District 36.

They have heard that a Special Election is happening on Tuesday.

They have heard that its really not just any Special Election.

They have heard that something unusual is about to happen.

They have heard that someone is stirring things up.

They have heard that someone has declared “enough is enough”.

They have heard that someone wants to revive this broken mess America is in.

They have heard that someone was willing to sacrifice resources to make it happen.

They have heard that someone has actual answers to solve Americas problems.

They have heard that someone hears the cries of the people.

They have heard that someone has lived his life serving God.

That someone is my husband Craig Huey.

Once they heard, they couldn’t sit still.
Once they heard they couldn’t wait to ACT.
Once they heard they just had to DO something.

For too long they were defeated.
For too long they remained silent.
For too long they sat home in fear.
For too long they did nothing but complain.

BUT they couldn’t ignore it any longer.

They HAD to get here.

To District 36.

Nobody forced them to come.
They didn’t get paid.
They came on their own.

Walking, biking, in cars, in vans, in shuttles and yes in BUSSES.

They descended on our Campaign Headquarters yesterday.

It was an ARMY.

All ages and all races, these men and women had faces of lions.

Undaunted looks of determination.
Reflections of bold courage.
Brave and Daring.

As they stepped into the neighborhoods yesterday, they stepped into History.

They stepped into a breakthrough.
They stepped into true hope and change

These people were UNSTOPPABLE.
These people were ENERGIZED.
These people were PASSIONATE.
These people were  WARRIORS ready to ENGAGE.

You are the unseen FORCE behind them.
You are the drive that MOVED them.
You are the people that SUPPORT them.
YOU are the PRAYER WARRIORS!

You have the Holy Spirit DRIVING YOU.
You have the Holy Spirit GUIDING YOU.
You have the Holy Spirit SUPPORTING YOU.
You CAN do ALL things through HIM.

Your prayers moved an ARMY here.
Your prayers moved a mountain of doubt.
Your prayers moved a mountain of fear.
YOUR prayers moved MOUNTAINS.

And its NOT OVER!!!
Three days until Tuesday.
A lot can happen in THREE days!!!
Death turned to LIFE in Three days!!!

Pray FOR:
Supernatural move of the HOLY SPIRIT to sweep throughout the District 36.  To raise up the dead church, to get out the vote.

Pray FOR:
The Divine Protection for Craig, Shelly, kids, campaign staff and families.  We are all being hit HARD on every level imaginable. (And God is glorified)

Pray FOR:
Victory. Believe it. Declare it. Join in it.
